Development of Mental Education Schools
The announcement of the First Lady Mrs. Suzan Mubarak at her visit to a
special needs education school.

The Scout movement made a change in the activities of children with special
needs and gave outstanding results that encourage us to increase and support
such movement.
-The scout and guide movement always welcome any boy or girl with special
needs of different ages.
-Disabilities never prevent them from joining and participating in the scout
activities, because as the movement is additive to those who are not
disabled, it is also useful to those who are disabled.
-scouting can give them more benefits than it gives to normal persons.
The EFSGG & its coordination committees cooperate in organizing many special
needs
events to integrate them with the normal people
Due to the importance of special needs, EFSGG formed a committee For
designing scout
programs for scouts and girl guides with special needs in june2003.
Objectives
•Mixing children with a group of friends that involves them in a community.
•Being an international movement, the scout movement enhances their
belonging to a bigger world that diminishes their feelings of being limited
and marginalized.
•Allowing them to show and fulfill their interests and needs.
•Integrating them in the society and understand the basis of social life
through communication with others.
•Offering them a way to work equally with normal people to achieve their
aims. Developing various skills and new experiences through scout games,
